6-10 March 2019 –Berlin – Ice cream at ITB

In the international context and with great visibility of one of the most important tourism fairs in the world, the MIG – International Exhibition of Artisanal Gelato will promote March 24 – Gelato Day and the taste of 2019 – Tiramisu ice cream, at the stand of the Veneto Region – the Land of Dolomites.

9-10 March 2019 – Valdobbiadene – 7. Prosecco Superiore Ice Cream Competition

On the occasion of the Ancient Fair of San Gregorio, the Municipality of Valdobbiadene promotes in collaboration with Longarone Fiere – International Exhibition of Artisanal Gelato, with the Association of Ice Cream Parlors of the Territory and with the Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene – Val d'Oca, the 7. edition of the ice cream parlour competition with the subject of Prosecco Superiore flavored ice cream (water based). The initiative is proposed as a preview of the 7. European Day of Artisanal Gelato (24 March) taking into account that among the wines, Prosecco is certainly one of the best for the creation of a high quality ice cream, strengthening and promoting the link between two products, expression of the Veneto territory, symbol of Made in Italy in the world.

24 March 2019 – Val di Zoldo – Gentle skiing

Also this year the Il Timone Association of Novara, with the support of the De Agostini Foundation and the Department of Sport, in collaboration with the MIG – International Exhibition of Artisanal Gelato, will propose a day to promote ice cream and the European Day of Artisan Gelato alongside people with disabilities. There will be numerous tastings and demonstrations with the old salt and ice batch freezers.

Mid-August 2019 – Curtain– Gelato Day Cortina Dolomites

Longarone Fiere Dolomiti, in collaboration with the Cortina and Tofana Hoteliers Association – Freccia nel Cielo, offers as always two important moments to raise awareness of the European Day of Artisanal Gelato and the reasons for this important recognition also to the international public visiting Cortina d'Ampezzo: in the morning on the summit of the Tofana di Mezzo at 3,244 m, On the other side of the Dolomites, artisanal ice cream prepared by the MIG ice cream makers is distributed, while in the afternoon under the Shell in Piazza A. In Bona, the party continues with ice cream and cones made with ancient methods.
