Description
The Pataki Confectionery, with a half-century history, opened its doors on 23 April 1973. Back then, the shop and production premises were smaller than the current sales area.
The renovation in 1985 increased both the customer area and the production area. This also led to the introduction of Italian cream ice cream, the ice cream display case. Guests could now request their favourite pastries and ice cream sundaes to be served to their tables.
Over the years, the fact that the size and seating capacity of the pastry display case proved to be insufficient. In 1998, the Pataki family decided to embark on another renovation project.
Work on the exterior began in September and the shop closed on 31 December for the interior refurbishment. As a result, the Pataki Confectionery, renewed both in terms of its interior design and its range of products, opened its doors in spring 1999.
